It’s time – to say thank you

Inauguration of the recycling site

Trioworld Korsberga

October 7th 2025

It’s time to re-think plastic – with real, lasting change.

At Trioworld, we don’t just believe in a circular future – we’re making it happen.
Together with our partners, we’re turning plastic into a long-term resource instead of a short-term solution. Plastic waste continues to rise across Europe – and much of it still ends up being incinerated or going to landfill.

It’s time to act now!

By leading our industry and taking on the entire life cycle of plastic, we’re driving the transformation – from linear to circular, from waste to value, and from short-term to a sustainable use of plastic film.

Through pioneering recycling, innovation and true accountability, we’re proving that plastic can stay in the loop – given new life again and again.

This isn’t a vision. It’s happening – right now in Korsberga, Sweden.
It’s time to re-think plastic. To act. To lead. To go circular.

We warmly welcome you.

Inauguration in Korsberga – a milestone for the future of circular solutions
On October 7, Trioworld inaugurated its new facility in Korsberga – a major step forward in our journey towards circularity.

The day was hosted by moderator Evelina Galli and our CEO Andreas Malmberg. The event included inspiring lectures, conversations with special guests, and an exclusive factory tour that showcased how our facility set a new standard in recycling and innovation.

Re-thinking plastic waste streams

Participants were able to listen to, among others, Oskar Karlsson, President of our new Recycling Division, as well as Trioworld’s Innovation and R&D Manager Jolien Stevels. They learned about the plastic flows generated in various parts of daily life and how we could create the loops needed to make use of plastic waste and conquered end-of-life challenges for plastic in various applications.

Guests met fellow sustainability managers, packaging development managers, waste management directors, and logistics developers over lunch in Korsberga, joined legislators and policymakers on our recycling facility tour, and took part in discussions that brought us one step closer to a circular future.

Facts about the event

A culinary experience to the sound of elegant bossa nova

The experience was elevated with world-class cuisine created by Carl Almgren, founder of Calle Kock – one of Sweden’s most accomplished chefs with international assignments and medals from both the Culinary Olympics and World Championships. To complete the atmosphere, we invited Jenséus Quintet feat. Annika Svensson, who delivered elegant jazz and bossa nova of the highest quality. It was a day where business value, innovation, and inspiration came together.
